Inner Force Martial Arts Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 Oct 2026
Who we are
Inner Force Martial Arts ("we", "us") runs kickboxing and martial arts classes. We are the "data controller" for the personal information you give us through the enquiry form on our website, which means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for looking after it.
You can contact us about this policy or your personal information at any time:

What information we collect
When you complete our enquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your phone number

  • The class you are interested in

  • Any questions or information you choose to write in the message box

Our website is hosted by Wix, which may also collect basic technical information (such as cookies) when you visit. See Wix's own privacy policy for details.
How we use your information
We use your details only to deal with your enquiry. Under UK data protection law we must have a lawful basis for this, and ours is as follows:

  • Replying to your enquiry and giving you information about the class you chose: we do this to take steps at your request before you sign up, and because of our legitimate interest in running our classes.

  • Contacting you about future classes and opportunities: we do this with your consent (see the next section).

We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not make decisions about you using automated systems.
Follow-up and marketing
We will follow up with you about the class you enquired about. If you tick the consent box on our form, we will also contact you about future classes and ways to get involved with Inner Force Martial Arts, by email, phone or text.
Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of getting a reply to your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing innerforcema@gmail.com or by replying "STOP" to any message. We will stop contacting you for this purpose straight away.
Who we share your information with
Your form submission is handled by two services we use to run the business:

  • Wix, which hosts our website and stores form submissions

  • Google (Gmail), which delivers the notification email of your submission to the owner

These providers process your information on our behalf and under their own data protection terms. Some of their servers may be outside the UK, in which case they rely on approved safeguards for international transfers.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
How long we keep your information
We keep your enquiry details for up to 12 months after we last had contact with you, then delete them from the website and from our email inbox. If you join a class, your details are then kept for as long as you remain a member.
If you withdraw your consent to follow-up messages, we stop contacting you straight away and keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Children's information
Our enquiry form is intended for adults. If you are enquiring about a class for your child, please complete the form yourself as the parent or guardian and use your own contact details. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the website.
Sensitive information
Please do not include health or medical details in the message box. If a medical condition or injury is relevant to training, we will discuss it with you in person. If you do include such details, we will use them only to reply to you and will delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete

  • Ask us to delete your information

  • Ask us to restrict how we use your information

  • Object to us using your information

  • Ask for your information in a portable format

  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it

To use any of these rights, email innerforcema@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints and changes to this policy
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
